Stone Carter Studios LLC (“We” or “Us”) operates the websites at StoneCarterStudios.com and ErisMMO.com, along with the online forum and game Eris Online (collectively, the “Service”).
2. Definitions
“Content” refers to any data, text, video, software, scripts, graphics, and interactive features submitted, uploaded, or otherwise made available to the Service by users.
“Subscriber” refers to any user who has an active Erisian membership, whether paid monthly via Patreon or annually via cryptocurrency.
3. User Content and Responsibility
By submitting Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, and unlimited license to use, publish, or republish it in connection with the Service. You retain copyright ownership of your Content.
We are not obligated to monitor or moderate user-generated Content except as required by law. Such Content reflects only the views of its author. We reserve the right to remove any Content at any time for any reason.
You agree not to use the Service to submit or link to any Content that violates applicable laws. You are solely responsible for your Content and any harm resulting from it.
4. Age Requirement
This Service is only for users 18 years or older. By registering or using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Do not register if you are under 18.
5. Content Removal
Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be addressed at our discretion.
6. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to terminate your access to all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
7. Erisian Membership and Benefits
Eris Online offers an optional Erisian membership that grants access to additional in-game content, including:
- Preview Races (Spectre)
- Additional Character Slots (Up to 5 Total)
Benefits are delivered by adding Subscribers to the Erisians group on our forum. Membership benefits and pricing may change over time as the game develops. Current pricing reflects limited-time promotional rates (see Section 10). Eris Online does not have a cash shop, microtransactions, loot boxes, gambling mechanics, or any chance-based purchase systems. All membership benefits are clearly defined.
8. Payment Options
Erisian membership can be purchased through either of the following methods:
Monthly — via Patreon. $1/month, billed recurring through Patreon. This promotional rate is limited to the first 50 subscribers. Patreon handles all payment processing; billing or subscription issues must be managed through Patreon directly.
Annually — via Cryptocurrency. $10 for 12 months of membership, paid as a one-time cryptocurrency payment processed through Coinbase Commerce. This promotional rate is available at our discretion and may be discontinued at any time. Cryptocurrency payments are subject to the following:
- All cryptocurrency transactions are final and irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain.
- We do not store your private keys or cryptocurrency. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet.
- Cryptocurrency values are volatile. The value of your payment at the time of the transaction may differ from its value at a later date. We are not responsible for any loss due to price fluctuation.
- Transactions are recorded on public blockchains. While we do not publicly link your identity to your wallet address, the transaction itself is a matter of public record.
Upon confirmation of payment through either method, your forum account will be added to the Erisians group to activate your membership benefits.
9. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Patreon Subscriptions. You may cancel your Patreon subscription at any time through your Patreon account settings. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund past payments. Your membership benefits remain active through the end of your current paid period.
Cryptocurrency Payments. All cryptocurrency payments are final and non-refundable. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by nature — once confirmed on the blockchain, they cannot be reversed, canceled, or charged back. If you experience a verified technical issue where your membership was not properly activated after a confirmed payment, contact us at support[at]erismmo.com within 7 days of the transaction for investigation.
10. Promotions and Pricing
Current membership pricing reflects promotional rates available during the early development of Eris Online. Promotional rates include:
- Patreon Monthly ($1/month): Limited to the first 50 subscribers. Once this cap is reached, new subscribers will be charged the standard rate at that time.
- Cryptocurrency Annual ($10/year): Available at our discretion and may be discontinued at any time without notice.
Existing subscribers who secured a promotional rate will retain that rate for as long as their subscription remains active and in good standing. Standard pricing will be announced prior to taking effect. We may offer additional limited-time promotions subject to terms displayed at the time of the offer. Promotions cannot be applied retroactively and hold no cash value unless stated.
11. Acceptance of Terms
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register or use the Service. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
